Virginia Beach, VA – 22 Sep, 2020 – Vectrona has teamed with Systems Planning and Analysis Inc. (SPA) to provide United States Fleet Forces (USFF) Director of Fleet Capabilities and Force Development with analysis and assessment of capabilities supporting their Force Development efforts. These activities fuse the acquisition, modernization and maintenance, and training enterprises, to include resource sponsors and Systems Commands’ efforts, to maximize the Fleet’s lethality against future adversary threats.
USFF, in coordination with Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CPF) and Commander, Naval Forces Europe (CNE) and as directed by the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), is tasked to man, train and equip naval forces. Towards that mission USFF accomplishes three activities: Force Development (Fd), Force Generation (Fg), and Force Employment (Fe). Because of the rapidly changing nature of modern warfare and constant need to upgrade capabilities and systems, USFF established the Force Development Division (N94) to properly prepare forces for the transition from Fd to Fg, and Fg to Fe. Force Development is the broad range of activities designed to advance naval combat power by ensuring the right functions, capabilities, and concepts are identified, resourced, delivered, and integrated into the Optimized Fleet Response Plan at the right time maximizing Fleet’s effectiveness and mission success.
